Hellen Thomas Finally Realizes The Press Corps Job Is Propaganda

It took over 2 years but a few of the most in the tank members of the Obama Media Group are coming up for air. Kool Aid sucker supreme Hellen Thomas will soon be wondering why she’s no longer invited to the White House after questioning The One in a inappropriate manner.

“Nixon didn’t try to do that,” Thomas said. “They couldn’t control (the media). They didn’t try.

“What the hell do they think we are, puppets?” Thomas said. “They’re supposed to stay out of our business. They are our public servants. We pay them.”

Thomas said she was especially concerned about the arrangement between the Obama Administration and a writer from the liberal Huffington Post Web site. The writer was invited by the White House to President Obama’s press conference last week on the understanding that he would ask Obama a question about Iran from among questions that had been sent to him by people in Iran.

“When you call the reporter the night before you know damn well what they are going to ask to control you,” Thomas said.

“I’m not saying there has never been managed news before, but this is carried to fare-thee-well–for the town halls, for the press conferences,” she said. “It’s blatant. They don’t give a damn if you know it or not. They ought to be hanging their heads in shame.”

What does she expect, the media has been barry’s lap dog from day one?  He is going to push his position until all the media revolts.

Al-Qaeda’s North Africa wing threatened on Tuesday to take revenge on France for its opposition to the burka, calling on Muslims to retaliate against the country, the US monitoring service SITE Intelligence reported.

Earlier this month, President Nicolas Sarkozy said the burka, which covers the whole face, was not welcome in the strictly secular country.

“Yesterday was the hijab (the Islamic headscarf long banned in French schools) and today, it is the niqab (the full veil),” Abu Musab Abdul Wadud, head of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb was quoted as saying.

“We will take revenge for the honour of our daughters and sisters against France and against its interests by every means at our disposal.”

The group also called on Muslims to retaliate for what it called French “hostility” against the community and its attempt to obstruct Islam’s practice on its territory.

I wonder when barry will attack France to defend the Muslim worlds right to screw women over.

I must agree with my friend Mary. If there is a word to describe Obama it’s distraction. If he hadn’t gone into politics he would have made an excellent con man, a good magician, or the best book on tape reader evah.

He uses what’s going on to sneak things under the radar or creates some outrageous BS with this left hand so you don’t see the even more outrageous crap he’s moving through with his right hand.

Under one White House draft that was being discussed earlier this month, according to administration officials, detainees would be imprisoned at a military facility on U.S. soil but their ongoing detention would be subject to annual presidential review. U.S. citizens would not be held in the system…

One administration official said future transfers to the United States for long-term detention would be rare. Al-Qaeda operatives captured on the battlefield, which the official defined as Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and possibly the Horn of Africa, would be held in battlefield facilities.

We Don’t Have To Like The Republicans. But…

Mr & Mrs DE are putting some mileage on our ride.  Here’s a guest post by Out of Hand Mary to tide you over till I get pissed off at something besides the driver in front of us.

As deadenders has told us many times, “Both parties suck.” I certainly can’t argue with that. But, as Uppity Woman told us disenfranchised Dems after May 31, 2008, when many wanted to run Hillary on a  third party ticket, there has never been a successful third-party bid for the White House. And that includes Theodore Roosevelt even after he’d already been president and ran on the Bullmoose Party..

Further, there is no national Independent Party. “Independent” designates something different in CA than it does in NY or FL.  There is no Constitution Party.  There is no We The People Party. And there is no national Woman’s Party.  Maybe we can make these parties a reality in the future, but establishing a new political party takes tons more time and money than we have now. With obama and his Congress, our backs are up against it.  We have to go with what we’ve got, which is the Republicans. You don’t have to love them or even like them, But if you want to save the USA, you’ve got to start supporting Republican candidates now.  I’ve already made two modest contributions to the current Congressman seeking Barbara, “Call Me Senator, Not Ma’am” Boxer’s senate seat. And you’ve got to vote for them.

If we want to preserve America as a free and sovereign nation, if we want to rescue it from the One Worlders, and from the intellectual fungus spread in our schools by SDS members who infiltrated our University’s teacher training programs and created Obama-Zombies, and from the jihadist colonizers, we must clear the Oval Office and Congress of the debased Democrat detritus now posing as leadership. Our sole means to this end in 2010 and 2012 is to vote for the only ones who have even an outside chance of unseating them, the Republicans.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America’s special tribute award went to the first lady, considered a new player in this world.

Noting her “meteoric rise as a fashion icon,” CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg said Obama had “a unique look.”

So this is what the fashion industry is honoring.

Obama, As Transparent As A Brick

Guess what boys and girls the most transparent president in history has decided that no one should be able to know who is visiting barry at the White House. barry has blocked access to the White House visitors list, to you, me and the media.

According to our brilliant Vice President, EVERYONE “guessed” wrong on the stimulus. Newsflash you drunken idiot.  Lots of us knew the stimulus was throwing good money after bad.  But evidently no one in the Obama Administration thought borrowing nearly a trillion dollars would hurt the economy more than it would help.

We are 6/10ths of a percent from double digit unemployment and Obama plans on increasing taxes $600 Billion just to pay for ObamaCare, who knows how much he’ll raise them to pay for everything else.  There’s only so much in taxes we can pay before it’s not worth working our asses off to pay them.  barry hasn’t quite figured that out either.
