WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. – Call it Freedom of Speech. A billboard recently erected in Wheat Ridge compares President Barack Obama to a terrorist and questions his U.S. citizenship.

The billboard, located at 4855 Miller Road, shows two cartoonish images of Obama wearing a Muslim turban and reads “PRESIDENT or JIHAD?”

It also says “BIRTH CERTIFICATE – PROVE IT!” alluding to the conspiracy theory which claims Barack Obama was born in Kenya rather than Hawaii, which would disqualify him for the office of President.

The words “WAKE UP AMERICA! REMEMBER FT. HOOD!” appear on the bottom of the billboard.

DE no longer believes that Obama is not qualified to be POTUS based on birth.

DE KNOWS FOR A FACT THAT IS ACTIONS SHOW HE IS NOT QUALIFIED TO BE POTUS.

Plan to see more and more of this and even more critical views on oilsoc as he further destroys our economy.

DE’s Message To Missouri Congressman: Shove It Up Your Ass!

And make sure to apply some super-glue so your fucking ass will explode.
Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri has a suggestion for us who are voicing concerns about unemployment, out of control spending, the health care debackle, Afghanistan and Iraq: “Stop complaining so much”. Really?…Seriously?

“From time to time, we all experience anxiety, frustration, stress, and regret. And often, we respond to these feelings with a criticism or complaining,” Cleaver wrote to his colleagues, seeking co-sponsors. “Regrettably, complaining keeps people stuck on current problems, inhibiting them from thinking constructively to find solutions. Research has also shown that complaining can be harmful to one’s emotional and physical health, relationships and can limit professional career success.”

Now Cleaver wants to waste taxpayers time and money to pass a resolution to set aside the day before Thanksgiving as “Complaint Free Wednesday”.

How about we pass a law that says YOU CAN ONLY SERVE ONE TERM instead.

Spinning Some Clay

We finally had some time to spend on our diy potter’s wheel. Between the two of us we had used it maybe a couple hours until the other day. Hands down the hardest thing to learn is centering the clay. Our first attempts we were using clay that was way to hard. After watching lots of videos on YouTube and how easily the clay was manipulated and we’re pushing and pulling and getting nowhere, we figured that out. (Simon Leach is my hero). Here are some examples of how were doing, it’s all low fire earthenware Miller #10 clay. The same clay body we use for our tiles. Overall I’m pretty stoked with our progress after basically spending two afternoon and evenings practicing thus far. We have some bowls that we’ve glaze fired that we’ll take some nice photos of and post, these are just some window light shots in the garage/studio on the drying table.

Picking Battles

The Sarah Palin cover of this weeks Newsweek is getting lots and lots of coverage on the news regarding whether the photo is appropriate or not. I don’t give a rats ass about the photo. THE PROBLEM IS THE TEXT. Not one person on the news including women seem to have a problem with Newsweeks JayZ style headline.

HOW DO YOU SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE SARAH?

SHE’S BAD NEWS FOR THE GOP-AND EVERYBODY ELSE, TOO.

To me that cover is inciting violence against Gov. Palin and should be considered a threat to her life. If that cover had a photo of Obama and you replace the names you better believe that the Secret Service and the DOJ would be paying Newsweek a visit. But there’s a better chance of a snowball fight in hell since Newsweek’s editors think Obama is GOD. The controversy over the photo is the distraction because the message is the real danger. Palin haters are a crazy bunch and one my just try to SOLVE their problem. Just another MSM shell game.

Land Of The Free No More

My Angi said an incredible thing to me last night.  We were watching Ashley Force on ESPN and a commercial came on with all sorts of patriotic imagery and slogans.  One of them being “Land of the free”…Angi turned to me and said “how can this be the land of the free when you have to pay the government to stay out of jail?”

No shit Nancy, how can it?

I guess that’s part of the fundamental transformation of our country.

Vineyard Tile Installation Photos

As promised here are some photos we took last night after we finished putting sealer on the grout and caulking the tile to the cabinets and counter top.

Angi and I so miss being about to use or 4×5 Sinar to shoot interiors with. These are shot with a Nikon DSLR and that’s why the perspective is off. You can only correct so much in photoshop. We’ll eventually get a digital back for our RZ-67 that can be adapted to work on the Sinar with full perspective control. Anyone have $30 grand laying around???? LOL!
