I thought it was 4th graders. You see 6th graders are really upperclassmen for POTUS emotionally so you can understand why he would be nervous and need his own blankie and double teleprompters. Don’t you all remember what it was like to be around the “big kids”???
that’s how he gets his practice talking down to grownups. I’ll bet the kids all begged him to leave his TOTUS’s so they could play Prezident after. important events like this help him take his mind off problems.

I may be misinformed, however he spent time with the children before the lights and totus were dragged out – not that his time with the children was a success, from all accounts I’ve read, he was rather an uninteresting dud. However, after he got those pesky, inquisitive little people out of the way, he had a commercial to film, and that was where the Double Totus came into action. No kids were harmed by this commercial. (and that is exactly what is what, no less that the guy flogging time life records on the informercials.
I have no idea who is in charge of his public appearances and speeches – however, whoever it is, they should be fired – no catapulted post haste to another dimension because they have no concept of the public – American or any other nation. They are so totally out of touch, it’s pathetic.
If he was filming a commercial why wouldn’t he use a camera mounted teleprompter so he could look at us while he’s reading what TOTUS tells him to say.
DE, honestly, I don’t know why he does what he does, or who is advising him. Lately, everything he does is a disaster in PR. He doesn’t really care (on a visceral level) about who is watching him, it’s all about how he looks and whether he can portray the proper amount of gravitas. That’s why I think his PR team should be ejected out of the stratosphere because they are so bad at PR (or perhaps they have so little to work with, this is the best they can do?).
It’s not that I have any empathy for the man – quite frankly I think he’s a fish out of water. He’s pathetic. On the other hand he’s sinking fast – and I think he is finally beginning to get the niggling feeling that perhaps, he made a very, very big mistake. Unfortunately, he has no concept of what it means to fail because he’s been propped up for so long by so many. I actually do feel a little pity for him, cause when he meets the basement floor, he’s not going to know what hit him. A little pity. His hubris in thinking that he was the best hope without the background, the experience, the empathy, the knowledge of the American experience and people is unforgiveable.
I am not trying to excuse him – however he is so unbelieveably dense – let him hang himself – he’s doing a fine job to date without any help.
