Why should we be alarmed about this?
CHICAGO (AP) — Officials are investigating the events surrounding a power failure at a nuclear reactor in northern Illinois, where steam was vented to reduce pressure after it shut down.
After the shut down Monday morning at Exelon Nuclear’s Byron Generating Station, operators began releasing steam to cool the reactor from the part of the plant…The steam contains low levels of tritium, a radioactive form of hydrogen, but federal and plant officials insisted the levels were safe for workers and the public.
If you said that it was Obama’s crowing glory (that will never ever ever be reported again) as an Illinois State Senator creating a law that allows plant officials to CHOOSE whether or not they should inform the public of a leak you win a unicorn. If you live in Illinois it has two head and is glowing green but a unicorn none the less.

The minute I heard this news, I immediately thought of Obama and Exelon.
I pray this is nothing serious, but if it is, given that law and who sits in the WH, people will most likely not be informed.
Oh wait, what am I thinking…….the media will keep us informed, that’s their job and we all know how objective and honest they are, especially when it comes to covering O’s ass.
I heard O’s ass is glowing already.
Or is that just the Larry Sinclair Effect?
